March 2010 Newsletter
March 1st, 2010Virtual Newsletters and Updates for 2010
Previously, we have provided our cover letters, the AAP newsletter and the HR newsletters to our clients as a way to share what we feel to be valuable information. In 2010, we have also developed an email contact method in hopes to increase these communication efforts. In February, we did a test run with the AAP and HR Newsletter and received a great deal of positive feedback. Going forward, we will also use these email notifications to remind you of bank and holiday closings, partner benefits, and other payroll updates.
If you are not already receiving these emails and would like to, please forward your contact information to Donna Bond at dbond@aappayroll.com . As well, if you would like to discontinue receiving notifications, please email Donna with your request to be removed.
From High Tech to Low Tech– AAP Has Flexible Payroll Submission Methods
AAP is not limited to a single way for our clients to submit payroll. We offer multiple submission solutions from low tech call-in and fax in to a remote thin client option for those who need more immediate and technical access to their employee and payroll information. We also offer esheets, which is an excel based spreadsheet that you can email to your customer service representative.
Looking for more reporting capabilities? We have solutions to give you greater access to reports when you need them.

Help Ensure Accurate and Prompt Return of Your Payroll
Timely submission of your payroll information allows us to effectively process and deliver an accurate payroll back to you. We understand that, on occasion, circumstances may delay your payroll submission, in which case good communication with your customer service representative becomes very important.
Turning your payroll in after the 3:00pm cut-off time becomes problematic and increases the risk of errors. Submitting after 4:00 will not guarantee that your payroll will be processed that day. Planning ahead will help all of us! If you are uncertain of your deadline, please contact your customer service representative.
Streamline Your Payroll Process and Control Payroll Costs
Time clocks are not only an accurate and reliable way to track your employee hours, but today’s time solutions provide a host of other valuable scheduling, benefits tracking and cost controlling features. Improve the efficiency of your payroll process, control payroll costs by more effectively monitoring hours and overtime, and increase the accuracy of employee checks. Often, time clocks can even be set up with an import feature, reducing your payroll preparation time tremendously. Making a time clock work for your business can far outweigh any associated costs.
From dial in for “in the field” businesses to optical/fingerprint scanners, AAP can help you find a time and attendance solution that will fit your budget and your business needs! Contact sales@aappayroll.com to request more information.
